We arrived at an off time, so we were seated right away. They only had 2 beers on draft (but one of them was Sam Adams so I was happy).
Stopped for a drink...pleasant staff. Drink was good.
This was my second time here, and I will definitely go back.
It's been over 5 years since I graduated from SLU and I still have dreams about this place! SO good! Awesome atmosphere... I think I need to make a trip from Seattle to the North Country again just to have dinner here!
Great food and wonderful attentive staff.
Casual, unpretentious, and friendly atmosphere. Outstanding ribs. I was thrilled that their children's menu featured a kid's portion of their specialties (ribs and pulled pork)...so many places leave the kids to the standard hot dog/chicken tender/burger choice (they have those on the menu, too, btw), so it was nice for our son to be able to have his very own plate of ribs instead of scavenging off our plates. A refreshing option for good dining out in an area that has few reliables to choose from.
My fiancé had a cheeseburger with French fries and he said he really enjoyed it. I had the Pork BBQ sandwich with coleslaw, and sweet potato fries. The fries were AMAZING, I just wish there were more of them! The pulled pork was really good too.
